NWA has appeared in 1948, its first champion became Orvill Brown. Certainly, before there were some wrestling organizations, but in them all was chaotic and is not ordered, and wrestling was mixed with the Greek-Roman struggle. NWA have collected all wrestlers in one federation. In NWA existed and there are to this day many regional branches. First president NWA became P.L.George, in general in NWA there were many presidents, but the brightest were: Jim Crokket Jr., Sam Muchnick and Bob Gagle. In NWA roster was registered up to 5 thousand wrestlers, the account of belts passed to tens, and per day passed on 5 shows. Jim Crokket has thought up PPV Battle Bawl at the end of which royal fight was held, and Vince McMahon has impudently stolen it PPV at NWA. In 1991 from NWA it was disconnected one of its biggest branches, World Championship Wrestling. Ted Turner has bought WCW and has soon made its independent organization, in WCW many belts and wrestlers from NWA have left, but NWA nevertheless continued to exist and arrange with show which how many did not concede show WCW. But in 1994, Steve Richard (president NWA) was waited with one more surprise. Paul Heyman has bought Eastern Championship Wrestling and too has made its independent federation, having named Extreme Championship Wrestling. But NWA also has this time survived, in 2002, Jerry Jarrett has created one more wrestling federation, having named it Total Nonstop Action, there have left two belts from NWA (World Heavyweight Title and World Tag Team Title), two more belts have left in NWA Wildside (US Heavyweight Title and World Junior Heavyweight Title), and some went belts in Japan. Now NWA exists, but only will not carry out own shows but only unites the regional organizations.
